Introduction
The Aga Khan
University invites applications for the position of Research Associate,
Department of Medicine – one year contractual position.
Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible to:
- ensure smooth and efficient
day-to-day operation of sample recruitment and data collection activities
- monitor and
collaborate research activities at all field sites
- visit field sites for trouble
shooting
- work with AKU collection points
for patient samples
- maintain data quality control,
conduct data management and data analysis as per study objectives
- submit financial reports on a
timely basis
- assist in preparing manuscripts
and abstracts for publication and presentation as required by
investigators, administrators and funding agencies.
Requirements
Applicants
should have:
- MBBS/ Science Graduate with
some relevant research experience
- good
management and organizational skills
- working
knowledge of MS Office, statistical analysis (SPSS), reference management
(EndNote), literature research (Pubmed, internet)
- good
interpersonal skills and communication skills, including spoken and
written English.
